Introductions continued - let's zoom in on Cesia

My name is Cesia. I was born about eight years ago far far far away from where I live now. My Human said it was a different continent with a different climate but I was very little when I was snatched out of there, so I do not remember that well. The man who took me was not very nice. He brought me to his country and as soon as we got home, he moved me from one cage to a smaller one where I could barely move. Then he put some other girls, like myself, in the same cage. He would give us water from time to time but we really had to fight amongst each other to quench thirst. Those weaker of us would die and lay there for days...

When I got old enough, I was introduced to some boys. They were as skinny and scared and me so they were not in the mood for frolicking. If this occurred, then the man would force them on me. There was no time when I was not pregnant but I could not stay with my children for even a minute, so my instincts got all messed up. And my children needed me and needed food but the man would not give it to them. He would sell them on the Internet and they would die soon after.

I lived with the man for three years until humans in uniforms took him away and I, and my basement-mates, were put in a rescue home. I was the last one of our pack to leave. My bones were all broken, I had no fat on them, my nose was bleeding, my eyes were crying. Oh yes, and I hissed and scratched a lot if you tried to come closer. But all the humans looked like the man to me...

Then I met the woman. She always wanted a bengal but did not want to pay so she was searching through shelters. She found me and brought me home but she had other cuddly friends and I did not like it so I would try to chase them away. The woman said I was going back to the shelter. I was scared because they said that if I went back, they would put me to sleep. I tried to be nice but it was too late. The woman gave me the last chance and wrote an ad.

In some other country, there was my Human. She saw the ad and I was in her house the next day. Oh, it was hard. I was announcing to all my friends on all continents that I was here and Human's neighbours thought I was louder than bombs so Human had to move out. I would test my Human - how much she could take - for a couple years or so and then I changed my mind and became friends with her. We are on quite good terms right now! Well, we were until she decided I needed company... But that's a story for another Hub.
